We Pedaled for Breast Cancer Awareness

An event with the slogan "We Pedal Together for Breast Cancer" was organized in our campus by Genç Birikim Foundation to raise awareness.

Rector Fethi Ahmet Polat and his wife Nilüfer Polat attended the event. The cycling tour started from the central dining hall building with the participation of volunteers, academicians and students from different cities. Raising attention to breast cancer by waving the pink flag, the participants pedaled for 3 kilometers on the bicycle tour organized in the campus area.

Rector Polat, who participated in the event, said, “We wholeheartedly support such activities as a university, and we participate in them every year. I thank Genç Birikim Foundation and its esteemed members who brought us all of us together and raised awareness on the issue. I also thank the participants coming from Istanbul, Ankara, and other cities”.
