Visit of Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican to Project Director Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik for the Malazgirt Project

As part of his visits to Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, our Rector paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik, who is leading the Project for the Identification, Historical, and Archaeological Surface Research of the Malazgirt Battle Field, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.

During this visit, the work carried out within the scope of the Malazgirt Project was evaluated, and discussions were held regarding the activities currently being conducted in Malazgirt for the upcoming academic year. Furthermore, our Rector and Prof. Çevik engaged in discussions about preliminary preparations for the Antic DNA Laboratory to be established within our university as part of this project.
