Visit from the Turkish Mountaineering Federation to Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican

Our city, with its topographical structure and natural beauty, is well-suited for both summer and winter sports. Under the leadership of our university, significant steps continue to be taken to bring sports activities to life.

In this context, Mehmet Çağlayan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation, paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, in his office. During this visit, which was attended by  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, and the Head of the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports, Şükrü Çobanoğlu, sports activities in our city, particularly in the field of mountaineering, were discussed. In this regard, ideas were exchanged about potential sports activities at the regional and national levels that our city could host in collaboration between the Turkish Mountaineering Federation and Muş Alparslan University in the future.
