“The Tale Teller Uncle and His Puppets” Mesmerized the Audience

MAUN Campus hosted a vibrant event organized by the MAUN Theater Group.

The performance of "The Tale Teller Uncle and His Puppets," adapted to the stage by Ankara City Theatres' Artistic Director Mehmet Tahir İkiler and moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Erdinç Öcal, President of Muş Alparslan University Theater Group, captivated the audience. This theater show, held at the 1071 Congress Center, attracted the participation of Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican's spouse, Assist. Prof. Songül Alican, Deputy Secretary General Serhan Demir, university academics, administrative staff, as well as students and younger attendees who showed great interest.

Mehmet Tahir İkiler's performance, combining traditional storytelling and modern puppetry, particularly fascinated young fans. At the conclusion of the show, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım presented certificates of appreciation to Mehmet Tahir İkiler and MAUN Theater Group President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdinç Öcal. Following Mehmet Tahir İkiler's close introduction of the puppets to the young admirers on stage, a group photo was taken with all the participants.
