The 952nd Anniversary of Malazgirt Victory Continues to be Celebrated

The 952nd Anniversary of the Victory of Malazgirt events, in which the Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and MAUN staff took an active role, continue on the second day with an intense participation.

While 16 oba tents and a khan tent were set up in the celebration area, horse races, acrobatic shows from helicopter, artistic concerts, wrestling and arrow shooting competitions were held as well as a painting exhibition. Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik, Malazgirt District Governor Göksu Bayram and Malazgirt Mayor Cengiz Altın gave the awards to the competitors who ranked in the events.

The celebrations, which attracted great interest from the public, continue.
