Teachers’ Day was Celebrated with a Colorful Program in Muş
An event was held in Muş within the scope of Teachers’ Day. Our Rector Prof. Fethi Ahmet Polat also attended to the Teachers’ Day celebration program organized by Muş Provincial Directorate of National Education at Muş Teachers’ House Conference Hall.
After a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, Ayşegül Boydak, the youngest teacher working in Muş, retired teacher Erkan Solak, Muş Provincial Director of National Education Enver Kıvanç, and Muş Deputy Governor Hasan Taş gave speeches on the meaning and importance of the day.
After the speeches, a cinevision show on “Loyalty to the Teacher” was presented and a service honour certificate and a plaque were presented to the retired teachers by Deputy Governor Hasan Taş. In the event, the swearing-in ceremony was also held for the novice teachers, and a musical concert prepared by the teachers and students of Muş Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School was staged. After the music concert ended, awards were presented to the students who ranked in painting, poetry and composition. The program ended with the opening and visiting of the painting exhibition prepared by Muş Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School.
