Support for Students' VTE Preparation Process from our School of Technical Sciences

Our University's School of Technical Sciences (STS), through its preparatory course for the Vertical Transfer Exam (VTE) organized for the 2023-2024 Academic Year, is providing support to students. This course, to be offered within STS, will be free of charge and will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

The VTE preparatory course, which will be organized by our School of Technical Sciences and will be attended by 110 students who have an average success rate above the threshold set by the commission, will be coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Şevgin, the Director of the School of Technical Sciences. The course program will be conducted voluntarily by academic staff members of the School of Technical Sciences, including Instructor Abdullah Çelik, Instructor Şahiner Güler, and Instructor Şakir Çetin.

During the information meeting about the course, Asst. Prof. Dr. Şevgin, the Director of the School of Technical Sciences, stated, "When organizing the VTE preparatory course coordinated by our School of Technical Sciences, we aimed to contribute to our students' ability to establish a stronger foundation for their bachelor's degree completion processes. In this context, I hope that they will turn this process into an opportunity for themselves and maximize their knowledge. Through this course, we hope our students will not only achieve success in the exam but also deepen their knowledge and skills in their fields, enabling them to move confidently towards their career goals. I would also like to thank our instructors for their voluntary contributions, as I believe their desire to guide students will further enhance the quality of our education."

The School of Technical Sciences aims to positively contribute to students preparing for the VTE by offering them a qualified educational opportunity and, in turn, to enhance their bachelor's degree education processes.
