SOLOTURK Conversation at Our University Attracted a Great Deal of Attention
The SOLOTURK team, which was founded within Turkish Air Force and performed with F-16 aircrafts, held an interview with the students of our university and the students from the schools affiliated to Muş National Education Directorate at the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center of our University.
During the conversation, SOLOTURK pilots Major Emre Mert and Major Murat Bakıcı gave information about the F-16 fighter jet used in the SOLOTURK demonstrations and explained the steps to be taken to be included in the SOLOTURK team. In the program, which was followed with interest by our staff and students, the pilots talked about their experiences during the demonstration flights. In addition, SOLOTURK's achievements and unique aspects were conveyed to the audience.
The conversation, which was followed with great interest, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş, Secretary General Harun Demir, our deans, directors, university staff and students.
After the conversation, SOLOTURK pilots answered our students' questions. The program ended with Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat’s gift and the Dean of Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Esin Kaya’s flower presentations and souvenir photo shoot.
