Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican Attends the 261st Interuniversity Council Meeting
Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım attended the 261st Interuniversity Council Meeting, held at the Higher Education Council (YÖK) Conference Hall in Ankara.
The meeting opened with a keynote address by HEC President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, who highlighted the restructuring of vocational schools, quality assurance processes, accreditation, international student policies, and exchange programs. He emphasized the importance of sustainable quality and internationalization in higher education.
Key agenda items discussed during the meeting included:
• Approval of the minutes from the 260th Council Meeting
• Election of a new HEC member
• Election of a new member to the Associate Professorship Commission
• Review of proposed amendments to the Associate Professorship Regulation
