Rector Polat Attended the Representational Military Service Oath Ceremony Held as part of the Disability Week

The Representational Military Service Oath Ceremony was held by the Muş Provincial Gendarmerie Command for disabled citizens as part of the Disability Week. Disabled individuals took an oath and did their one-day military service.

Disabled citizens experienced the excitement of being a soldier at the event held at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command as part of the Disability Week. Disabled people, who received training by wearing military uniforms during the ceremony, became representative soldiers for one day after the oath ceremony. At the oath ceremony, some soldiers who took the oath by pressing their hands on the gun and flag received their memorandum and plaques from our Rector, Professor Doctor Fethi Ahmet Polat.

Rector Polat said, “We have experienced the happiness and excitement of our brothers, who fulfilled their military duty, albeit symbolically, without any obstacles in life.”

Muş Governor Associate Professor İlker Gündüzöz, Deputy Mayor Aydın Özarslan, Provincial Garrison Commander Colonel Serhat Ulucan, Chief Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Yavuz, heads of public institutions, relatives of disabled citizens, and soldiers attended the program.

After the speeches, search and rescue special training dogs gave a short demonstration. The Program ended after a group photo shoot.
