Rector Alican at the 43rd International Symposium on Excavation Research and Archaeometry

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican attended the 43rd International Symposium on Excavation Research and Archaeometry hosted by Hacı Bayram Veli University between 16-20 October 2023 under the auspices of the Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Our Rector, together with our Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, listened to the paper on "2022 Malazgirt Battlefield Survey" presented at this symposium by Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik, who is the chairman of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism Malazgirt Battlefield Identification, Historical and Archaeological Survey Project, of which our University is one of the stakeholders.

After the symposium, our Rector met with Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik and made mutual evaluations on the works to be implemented in the 2023 phase of the Malazgirt Project.
