Prof. Dr. Mehmet Türkmen has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Giresun University

Having made significant contributions to the organization of the International Traditional Sports Games of Turkish Peoples Symposiums, Prof. Dr. Türkmen has been appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Giresun University.

MAUN university faculty member Prof. Dr. Mehmet Türkmen was elected to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Giresun University during the General Assembly of the Council of Higher Education on April 13, 2023. He was subsequently appointed to this position by Presidential Decree No. 2023/17. 
In acknowledging Professor Türkmen's service to the university, MAUN Rector, Professor Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, expressed his gratitude and offered his best wishes for success in his new role.
