Our University Conducts 'Organic Beekeeping Training' in Varto District
Our University's Faculty of Applied Sciences organized 'Organic Beekeeping Training' in Varto District. The training was attended by Varto District Governor Musa Ayyıldız, Muş Provincial Coordinator of the Subsidies and Supports for Rural Development (IPARD) Bünyamin Süne, Coordinator of Muş Investment Support Office of DAKA (Eastern Anatolia Development Agency) Fuat Özkan, Research Assistant Mustafa Güneşdoğdu from the Department of Animal Production and Technologies at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, members of the association board, and beekeepers.
Prof. Dr. Karadağ stated that a two-day training on 'Organic Beekeeping' was provided to local beekeepers residing in the district with the support of Varto Local Action Group Association, and the training was supported by IPARD II, TKDK, and LEADER Turkey programs. He also emphasized that the Faculty of Applied Sciences, as a pilot state university in the field of animal husbandry, continues to make significant contributions to our region, the agricultural community of our country, and producers, especially in Muş.
During the training provided to local beekeepers residing in Varto District, Research Assistant Mustafa Güneşdoğdu from the Department of Animal Production and Technologies at the Faculty of Applied Sciences expressed his gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, and our Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, for their support.
The event concluded with the distribution of training participation certificates and a group photo.
