Our Students Celebrate Their Graduation with Ceremonies
At the end of the academic year, which was as sad as it was full of successes, our students graduated from their schools.
Our students graduated with their diplomas at the graduation ceremonies held at our university's 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center. Our Rector, Prof. Mustafa Alican who could not attend the ceremonies due to his busy schedule, was represented by the Rector's Advisor Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Özalper and the ceremonies were also attended by deans, principals, academic staff, students and their families.
The opening speeches of the ceremonies were made by the Rector's Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Özalper. Özalper congratulated the graduating students and wished them continued success. In his speech at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Özalper underlined that the Faculty of Sports Sciences of our University is among the top sports sciences faculties in Turkey, and stated that this is a great responsibility. Özalper said, “As a requirement of this responsibility, you should direct your next life in this direction. It is a necessity, not a condition, that you give the right to this education you have received with the opportunities offered by our state and our university.”
In the ceremonies held, the students of Vocational School of Health Services, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Varto Vocational School experienced the joy of graduation with their families. The programs ended with a souvenir photo taken and a cap ceremony.
Oya Başçı graduated from the Vocational School of Health Services with the first place, Ayten Gül İlgin with the second place and Melek Aslan with the third place.
Sevgül Çılgın came first, Orhan Tuğa second and Ahmet Hurinal third in the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
Zerin Boncuk, a student of the Faculty of Health Sciences, won the first prize, Semanur Arslan the second and Beyza Kalır the third.
In Varto Vocational School, Agit Savcı took first place, Seher Toz second and Zinet Sönmez third.
