Our Second Aid Vehicle is on its Way to Hatay
A vehicle carrying aid materials such as wood stoves, tents, clothes, food, cleaning products, blankets, baby diapers, and similar items collected under the leadership of our university in response to a request from our volunteer staff operating in Adiyaman and Hatay provinces set off to Hatay as of February 23rd.
The transfer of aid collected at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, which was converted into our university's aid collection center, was attended by vice rectors, deans, general secretary, private secretary, and personnel of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. In his statement on the matter, Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat said, "Our university has sent aid materials to the region with dozens of trucks, buses, and other transportation vehicles until today. We sent off our latest convoy to Hatay by informing the Provincial Crisis Center. I believe we will overcome these days together. I sincerely thank all academic-administrative staff for their dedicated work."
