Our Rector Participated in the Mawlid al-Nabi Program
A program themed "Our Prophet, Mosque and Irshad" was organized by Muş Provincial Mufti due to the Mevlid-i Nebi, Mosques and Religious Officials Week.
The program, which was organized by the Provincial Mufti's Office in the conference hall of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Deputy Governors Berker Çırak, Süleyman Arat, Kocaeli Provincial Mufti Sinan Cihan, Muş Provincial Mufti Ibrahim Halil Demir and religious officials.
The program, which started with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Osman Sezgin, continued with a cinevision screening. Provincial Mufti Ibrahim Halil Demir, who made the opening and greeting speech, stated that the Mawlid al-Nabi Week is the week of recognizing and understanding the Prophet, "he is a supreme personality who has all the values that make a person a human being. Mawlid al-Nabi is the birth of humanity. Thanks to the words and warnings of our Prophet, his exemplary morality, behavior and guidance, humanity has been reborn."
Deputy Governor Berker Çırak touched upon the issues of Mawlid al-Nabi Week, Mosques and Religious Officials Week and thanked Muş Provincial Mufti for this beneficial program. Kocaeli Provincial Mufti Sinan Cihan gave a conference on the theme "Our Prophet, Mosque and Irshad".
