Our Rector came together with journalists on Working Journalists' Day
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and Advisor to the Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper came together with the leading journalists of Muş and the employees of the Directorate of Press, Publications and Public Relations of our university on the occasion of "Working Journalists' Day".
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, who started his speech by congratulating journalists and press employees on "10 January Working Journalists' Day" at the breakfast held at the Guest House of our university, made important statements about the priorities of the university. Making a special emphasis on Malazgirt, Rector Alican stated that more contribution can be made to the region by highlighting the historical and cultural richness. Referring to the strategic plans of the university in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry, Rector Alican stated that the developments in this sector are among the priorities of the university and stated that the developments in this field will make significant contributions to Muş.
Emphasising the importance he attaches to the field of health, Rector Alican shared the aim of our university to be a pioneering institution in the field of health and stated that the initiatives for the opening of the Faculty of Medicine at our university continue. Our Rector said, "I believe that the studies carried out in this field will provide positive and important effects on public health".
Our Rector, who came together with journalists at the event and exchanged ideas, emphasised that the media plays an important role in raising awareness of the society and thanked the journalists for their cooperation and contributions.
