Our Rector Attended the August 30 Victory Day Ceremonies
In the ceremony held at the Muş Garrison Martyrdom for August 30 Victory Day, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, was joined by Muş Governor Avni Çakır, Muş Mayor Feyat Asya, Colonel Mehmet Kasım Ermiş, the Commander of the Provincial Gendarmerie, Serkan Karaman, the Chief of Police, institution authorities, political party representatives, and NGO delegates.
The ceremony, which began with a moment of silence in memory of our dear martyrs, continued with the singing of the National Anthem, prayers, laying of carnations on the martyrs' graves, the presentation of a wreath at the Atatürk monument, and paying respects. Following a speech by Second Lieutenant Mustafa Yılmaz, representing the Turkish Armed Forces, about the significance of the day, the ceremony concluded with the congratulations from Governor Avni Çakır.
