Our Rector Attended the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Programme

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, and his wife, Dr. Songül Alican, visited the ‘15 July Democracy and National Unity Day’ themed photo exhibition. This exhibition featured photographs taken during the coup attempt on 15 July 2016, capturing the epic resistance of our nation.

Following the photo exhibition, they attended the commemoration programme held in Muş City Square along with the provincial protocol and the people of Muş. In the square, speeches were delivered on the meaning and significance of 15 July, prayers were offered for our martyrs, and a democracy vigil was held.

The programme in Muş City Square concluded with messages emphasizing the unity and solidarity of our nation and the unwavering commitment to protecting democracy and national will. The commemoration programmes once again showcased our nation's dedication to democracy and national will, in line with the spirit of 15 July.
