Muş Theater Days Concluded

Organized by our university in collaboration with Malatya Turgut Özal University, Muş Municipality, Muş Youth and Sports Directorate, Malazgirt Municipality, Malazgirt District Governorship, and Bulanık District Governorship, Muş Theater Days took place from January 18 to February 3 and came to a close with its final play in Bulanık.

Over a period of 15 days, Muş, Malazgirt, and Bulanık hosted approximately 20,000 spectators of all ages, bringing them together with theatre. The closing play, "The Glass Menagerie," written by Tennessee Williams, directed by Asst. Prof. Mehmet Önder, and performed by Defne Çoban, Gökmen Çınar, Sıla Çiçek, and Mehmet Akif Güzel, provided the audience with emotional moments.

The closing event was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and his wife Dr. Asst. Prof. Songül Alican, Bulanık District Governor and Acting Mayor Oğuzhan Ocak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, Bulanık Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami Yuca, Secretary General Harun Demir, Rector's Advisor and KÜSAM Director Dr. Asst. Prof. Ender Can Dönmez, and many residents of Bulanık.

At the end of the play, District Governor Oğuzhan Ocak presented certificates of appreciation to Bulanık District Governor Oğuzhan Ocak, General Artistic Director Asst. Prof. Mehmet Önder, all actors, and everyone involved in Muş Theater Days, including our university staff led by KÜSAM Director Dr. Asst. Prof. Ender Can Dönmez. In his speech, District Governor Oğuzhan Ocak expressed gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, all stakeholders, and everyone involved in the organization. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, in his remarks, thanked all Muş Alparslan University staff, stakeholders, and the communities of Muş, Malazgirt, and Bulanık for their continuous support and announced the commitment to continue bringing art to Muş.
