MAUN student to represent Turkey in the World University Athletics Championships (FISU)

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican wished success to the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Alper Karadağ, and student, national athlete Derya Kunur, in a meeting before the championship.

Derya Kunur, a 3rd-year student in the Coaching Education Department of MAUN Faculty of Sports Sciences, who will represent Turkey in the World University Athletics Championships to be held in China from July 28 to August 3, visited her coaches and Rector Alican before the championship. During the visit, Kunur said, "It is very gratifying to represent our country and our university in this championship. I would like to thank all my teachers who have given me this pride and have contributed greatly to my journey."

Rector Alican also said to Kunur, "We are proud of you too. May your successes be constant, and may your path be clear."
