MAUN Starts Crisis Management and Disaster Coordination Board Activities
Muş Alparslan University Senate convened on 23.02.2023 and made an important decision to establish a board for crisis management and disaster response.
Under the leadership of our university's Vice Rector responsible for research centers, Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş, and with the assistance of the Director of the Disaster Management Implementation and Research Center, Asst. Prof. Dr. İskender Dölek, the Crisis Management and Disaster Coordination Board has begun its first activities. Meetings were held to identify gathering areas within the university in the event of a disaster, and in the process of preparing plans, organization, analysis, capacity development, and integration processes were evaluated while maintaining dialogue with institutions such as AFAD and KIZILAY.
