MAUN Rector was Featured as a Guest on the "Gündem Ötesi" Program

MAUN Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, and Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik were guests on a program commemorating the 952nd anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert. During the program, they shared with the audience the latest developments in the project for the Identification, Historical, and Archaeological Surface Survey of the Manzikert Battle Site. They presented the current stage of the project, along with the data and findings that have been obtained.

MAUN Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Prof. Dr. Adnan Çevik, and the President of the Archers Foundation, Haydar Ali Yıldız, were guests on the "Beyond the Agenda" program, hosted by Pelin Çift, which aired on TRT 1. Broadcasting live from the celebration area, the guests shared insights about the Battle of Manzikert that altered the course of history and provided details about the ongoing project. During the program, artifacts such as arrows, weapon fragments, coins, and the seal of Diogenis, discovered during excavations, were showcased to the audience.
