MAUN Rector Prof. Polat Attended the 2022-2023 Academic Year Opening Ceremony at the Presidential Complex

The 2022-2023 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of the Council of Higher Education was held by the Council of Higher Education (CHE) with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center.

The Opening Ceremony started with the screening of the promotional film prepared by CHE, and the President of CHE Prof. Erol Özvar continued with his speech. Then, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech. In his speech, President Erdoğan wished the 2022-2023 Academic Year to be beneficial. In the program, academicians and universities that were entitled to receive awards within the scope of the “CHE 2022 Outstanding Achievement Awards” were also presented their awards. In addition to MAUN Rector Prof. Fethi Ahmet Polat, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Alper Karadağ, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Esin Kaya, Director of Malazgirt Vocational School Assist. Prof. Adem Aktaş, Assoc. Prof. Selcuk Sağır, Assist. Prof Vedat Almalı, the student representatives Mehmet Tahir Yaşar and Sinem Zengin from MAUN attended the openning ceremony.
