Graduation Ceremonies Continue

MAUN graduation ceremonies, where we send off our students who have successfully completed the academic year to their new lives, continue.

MAUN Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, who could not attend the ceremonies due to his previously planned programmes, said in his message: "First of all, I would like you to know that I am very sorry that I cannot be among you due to compelling reasons. I sincerely congratulate all our graduating students and wish you all a successful and healthy life."

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, deans, directors, academic staff, students and their families attended the graduation ceremonies held at the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Centre.

In the graduation ceremonies of the students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering-Architecture and Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Vice Rector Karadağ, who made the opening speeches on behalf of our Rector who could not attend the programmes, infused the program with vibrancy through his captivating poetry recitations, congratulated all students for their success. In the ceremonies, while the school valedictorians made speeches, the students of the Faculty of Education took oath and the student of the Faculty of Theology performed the recitation of the Holy Quran. All graduates received their diplomas from their teachers. The programmes ended with a souvenir photo and the cap ceremony.

Sehad Büyükyıldız, Vedat Yorulmaz and İsa Sever from the Faculty of Applied Sciences won the first, second and third prizes respectively.

Zeynep Güzel, Dilara Yeşil and Esra Mişe from the Faculty of Education won the first, second and third prizes respectively.

Merve Ot, Mustafa Varol and Nurullah Akay from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture were awarded first, second and third prizes, respectively.

Faculty of Islamic Sciences students Murat Kısmet, Hacer Elitaş and Ebru Daşdemir graduated with the first, second and third prizes, respectively.
