Experience Sharing Workshop was Organised between our University and Iğdır University

Within the scope of the ‘IĞDÜ & MAUN Experience Sharing Workshop’ organised in cooperation with our university and Iğdır University, the knowledge and experience gained by the two universities in different fields were shared mutually.

The programme hosted by Iğdır University was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Rector of Iğdır University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, vice-rectors, faculty deans, department heads, project and technology unit officials, international office and foreign student coordinators of both universities.

Within the scope of the workshop; the establishment processes of the animal hospital and oral and dental health hospital, their structural functioning and the experiences gained in these fields were explained in detail. In addition, technical information on the installation, efficiency and contribution of the solar energy system established within Iğdır University was shared.

Evaluations were also made on the contributions of the collaborations developed with supportive institutions such as TKDK and DAKA operating in the fields of agriculture and rural development to the projects. The studies carried out for high value-added agricultural products and experiences regarding the specialisation process were followed with interest by the participating academicians and administrative staff.

Speaking at the programme, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican stated that this qualified meeting, in which the two universities conveyed their strengths to each other, was extremely productive in terms of institutional development and expressed his desire to further strengthen this cooperation with joint projects in the future.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma, Rector of Iğdır University, pointed out that such contacts between universities are of great importance in terms of sharing knowledge and experience, and described the workshop held with Muş Alparslan University as a valuable step in this context.
