Dr. Kemal Sülük Attended the ERASMUS+ Project Meeting in Ankara

Dr. Kemal Sülük from our University's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and the TTO project team attended the "Central Projects Meeting for Higher Education Institutions" held in Ankara on 23/01/2024 by the Directorate for European Union Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey National Agency.

 

During the meeting, representatives from higher education institutions were informed about "Erasmus+ Central Projects," "Erasmus+ Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)," "Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation (AFI)," and "Capacity Building in the Field of Vocational Education within Erasmus+" by experts from the Turkey National Agency. Subsequently, the project coordinators of exemplary projects affiliated with our country provided detailed technical information about the projects and their processes. Dr. Kemal Sülük, our participant, discussed a project idea that will highlight our university within the scope of Erasmus+ Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) with the experts, and began preparations for writing and presenting the project by obtaining detailed information about the project processes.

Central projects aim to develop new and innovative approaches to common problems in the fields of higher education, vocational education, school education, adult education, youth, and sports by collaborating with a wide range of institutions/organizations across Europe such as academia, private sector, public institutions, and civil society. These large-scale and high-budget international projects focus on improving higher education standards, enhancing the innovation capacity of sectors through university-industry collaborations, addressing skills gaps in sectors, increasing entrepreneurship, and improving vocational education capacities in non-European countries. Each project under this program receives a budget of 4 million Euros.
