Career Talks Continue

As part of the coordination by our Career Development Application and Research Center (KARGEM), the guests for the ongoing career talks were teachers who received the Global Teacher Award.

Hosted by our Faculty of Education, the career talks took place on December 8, 2023, at the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center, Hall A. The honored guests for this event were two teachers from our country who received the 'Global Teacher Award,' Mehmet Bilgin and Nurten Akkuş.

The event, which also received contributions from our Career and Colorful Dreams student communities, was attended by MAUN Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, KARGEM Director Dr. Teymur Erol, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Demir Öztürk, academic staff, and students.

During her online presentation, guest teacher Nurten Akkuş advised prospective teachers, saying, 'Everything is possible, just want it and be courageous.' On the other hand, our other guest, Mehmet Bilgin, conducted his presentation in person, providing examples of practices he has implemented in his school to prospective teachers. He also shared his journey leading to receiving the Global Teacher Award, emphasizing perseverance, hard work, and determination. After imparting invaluable advice that will touch the lives of Muş Alparslan University students, Bilgin concluded his presentation.

The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and gifts.
