953rd Anniversary Celebrations of the Battle of Malazgirt Begin with Great Enthusiasm

The celebrations marking the 953rd anniversary of the Battle of Malazgirt commenced with great enthusiasm, with the participation of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican.

The first day of the events was attended by Governor Avni Çakır, Muş Member of Parliament Mehmet Emin Şimşek, Malazgirt District Governor Göksu Bayram, local officials, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Archers Foundation Haydar Ali Yıldız, and the people of Malazgirt.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, participated in the events held at the Malazgirt Historical National Park, emphasizing the significance of the Battle of Malazgirt. Hosting visitors at our university's tent in the event area, our Rector took part in various activities, once again demonstrating the university’s commitment to the legacy of the Battle of Malazgirt.

The celebrations will continue until August 26 with various events. These activities, organized to convey the meaning and importance of the Battle of Malazgirt to future generations, continue to strengthen the spirit of national unity and solidarity.
