2nd Muş Book Days Continue with Talks
Interviews and workshops continue to be organised within the scope of the 2nd Muş Book Days events held on our campus.
On the third day of the events, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rafız Manafov drew attention with his talk titled ‘Philosophy of Religion and the Problem of Evil’. Manafov addressed the issue of badness/evil from a philosophical perspective and touched upon the intellectual difficulties that this issue poses especially for theistic religions. He made a comprehensive evaluation of the history of evil, its types and the theological and philosophical defences developed against this problem. By presenting examples from Islamic and Western philosophy, he discussed the strength and criticisms of the free will defence.
In the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeliha Tekin addressed academicians and college students with her interview titled ‘Career and Success’. Focusing on career management, the importance of teamwork and successful communication strategies, Tekin emphasised the effects of networking on career. The interview was completed in an interactive way with a question and answer session.
Finally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Demir Öztürk conducted a workshop titled ‘Journey to Children's Books with Drama’ with university students. She dramatised the plot of the book ‘My Tail Disappeared’ and worked interactively with the students. This workshop, which took place with the active participation of the students, ended with the view that children's books are a source of inspiration for adults with their fun and imaginative aspects
