Torchlight Procession Held in Honor of the 953rd Anniversary of the Battle of Malazgirt

As part of the celebrations for the 953rd anniversary of the Battle of Malazgirt, events continued with a torchlight procession and flag march.

The march saw significant participation, including our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Malazgirt District Governor Göksu Bayram, Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Mehmet Arif Taşdemir, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Archers Foundation Haydar Ali Yıldız, and the people of Malazgirt.

Starting from Malazgirt Martyr Arslan Kulaksız Street and concluding at Malazgirt Square, the procession was accompanied by the enthusiastic marches of the mehter band.

Following the march, Chairman of the Archers Foundation Board of Trustees Haydar Ali Yıldız and Malazgirt District Governor Göksu Bayram delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the Battle of Malazgirt in our history. They emphasized the importance of such events and thanked the participants for their strong engagement.
