The Applications of the TÜBİTAK 1001 Project Conducted by Academicians Affiliated with Our Faculty of Education Continue

The applications of Muş Alparslan University Faculty of Education's "Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of a Family-Inclusive Multidisciplinary Natural Disaster Literacy Education Module for Preschool Children" TÜBİTAK 1001 project have been completed in Van. The applications in Muş began with the opening speeches of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican.

Within the scope of the project aiming to establish a conceptual framework for disaster education in the preschool period, determine the educational needs related to natural disasters, enhance natural disaster literacy skills, design, develop, and evaluate a family-inclusive education module for teachers and subsequently for children, the work conducted with a total of 30 preschool teachers from Van and Hakkâri under the auspices of the Ipek Yolu Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate in Van was completed between August 21 and 27. In Muş, the implementation activities with 30 preschool teachers from Bitlis and Muş will take place between August 28 and September 3 in the Faculty of Education classrooms. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, also attended the opening of the project in Muş. Rector Alican extended his best wishes to the teachers participating in the project for a productive work period and conveyed his wishes for success to the project coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdulhamit Karademir.
