Range Improvement and Management Projects Signed and Submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
In 2024, range improvement and management projects prepared for implementation in 63 villages in Muş were signed by Muş Alparslan University Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, and the Director of Grassland, Pasture, and Forage Crops Branch at Muş Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Celal Aral, and submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, the Coordinator of Range Improvement and Management Projects, expressed that the projects in Muş province were progressing rapidly, and the projects prepared by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry were being successfully carried out and completed. He mentioned that the range improvement and management projects for implementation in 63 villages were prepared, signed, and sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2024.
Prof. Dr. Karadağ emphasized that with the implementation of these projects in Muş, one of the most important provinces for livestock activities in our country, the quality grazing areas, primarily represented by the pastures, would play a crucial role in grazing livestock. He continued his words as follows: "I wish these projects, especially for Muş and our region, as well as our country's agriculture and valuable producers engaged in animal production, to be beneficial. I would like to thank our university's Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mehmet Gün, and Celal Aral, the Director of Grassland, Pasture, and Forage Crops Branch, for their support in the implementation of these projects."
