IQMS Training Program Completed
After the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS), the software and design of which was created by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, was brought to our university, two-day training was given to our academic and administrative staff on the use of the relevant program.
The trainings provided by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Deputy Quality Management Coordinators Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Ekrem Öztürk and Computer Engineer Reşit Mamur were carried out in 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center and Computer Laboratory. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, as well as our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Esin Kaya, Secretary General Harun Demir, academic and administrative staff attended the opening program of the training. Prof. Dr. Polat, who made the opening speech of the training program, stated that with the quality awareness internalized in our university, significant improvements have been made in education, research and development and management, and that this process should be continued with a sustainable system, because quality system documentation plays an important role in quality studies. In addition, with the use of the knowledge-based Integrated Quality Management System in our university, which spreads throughout the institution with a leadership-centered, holistic approach and takes into account the outputs of the Higher Education Council in line with its priorities and objectives, quality processes such as internal evaluation, accreditation, and performance management have become more systematic and transparent. In the trainings, Ahi Evran University Deputy Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek informed about the functioning of the quality management system, its organization, commissions, working procedures and principles, its distribution to the units, the purpose of integrating the quality management systems, the development process, the application of BKYS, the modules and the dissemination of its use. Training on Strategic Plan Definition, Process Management, Cost Plan Determination, Risk Management, Stakeholder Relations Management, Supplier Relations Management, Survey, Performance Management, Management of Improvement Activities, Document Management, Report, System Authorization and Announcement, which has a total of 13 modules, were given by the members of the Coordinators to the academic and administrative staff.
After the hands-on training given on the second day, ideas and suggestions were discussed with the question-answer part about the program modules. Afterwards, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Quality Management Coordinator team first visited the departments and then MAUN Quality Management Coordinator and held a general evaluation meeting with Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Esin Kaya, Assistant Coordinators Assoc. Prof. Ayça Kartal and Dr. Veysel Emir Eke.
