Graduation Excitement Started at Our University
Graduation ceremonies have started to bid farewell to our students who have successfully completed the 2021-2022 Academic Year.
On the first day of the ceremonies held in three campuses of our university, students of Bulanık Vocational School, Malazgirt Vocational School, Islamic Sciences Faculty, Social Sciences Vocational School and Faculty of Education, who successfully completed their education experienced the joy of graduation. The ceremonies, which started with the singing of the National Anthem, continued with the opening speeches in which good wishes were presented to the graduates.
Later, our Rector, Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat's video message has been published, who could not attend the programs because he had to attend an important meeting where the President of YÖK would meet with the rectors. Rector Polat, started his message by saying my respected teachers, dear students and our mothers and fathers are the crown of our heads, and he stated that they carried out very important works with the students this year, as in previous years, and that they carried out numerous activities that will highlight national and spiritual values, as well as scientific projects. In his message, Rector Polat said, “Dear students, we have tried our best for you to have an intellectual mind based on wisdom , with technical knowledge that expresses quality, continuity and productivity against the burning ideas of the modern age, where even the most ordinary knowledge determines the fine line between existence and non-existence .I hope and wish that you, too, will respond to this sincere effort from your teachers with a sincere desire, and in the next part of your life, you will exhibit enviable examples of science, morality and perseverance”. Rector Polat concluded his message by saying , “I would love to share in this joy that we will release our precious babies, whom we have protected and raised like a sparrow, to the vast blues of the sky together with our teachers. I am not with you today, but I will be with you at the general graduation ceremony. I wish you days full of health, happiness and success”.
In the program, which continued with a music concert, gifts and plaques were presented to the students who ranked high, and certificates of achievement were presented to all students. The students had a great time with the mini concert held after the cap throwing ceremony.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş, Director of Malazgirt Vocational School Asst. Prof. Adem Aktaş, Director of Bulanık Vocational School Asst. Prof. Ahmed Galip Halidi attended the ceremonies held at Malazgirt Vocational School; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Secretary-General Harun Demir, Dean of the Islamic Sciences Faculty Prof. Dr. Murat Serdar, Director of Social Sciences Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Özalper, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Esin Kaya, academic, administrative staff, students and parents attended to the ceremonies held at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and at the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center of our University.
